Perla's Poached Fish

DESCRIPTION

INGREDIENTS
 

  • 1 tbsp paprika
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 bunch parsley (rinsed and chopped or 3 tbsp dry parsley)
  • 2 slices preserved lemon (diced)
  • 4 bay leaves
  • 1 cup water

Fish mixture

  • 3 tbsp oil
  • 1 head garlic (peeled and sliced or 2 tbsp garlic powder)
  • 1 onion (peeled and diced or 2 tbsp minced onion)

INSTRUCTIONS
 

  • bring water to a boil and add all above ingredients, reduce heat.
  • Mix all ingredients, if necessary add more oil. Roll fish fillets in oil mixture then dip them in the water.
  • Cook at medium heat until liquid reduces to a sauce.  Drizzle olive oil. Cover and remove from heat.  Serve hot.
