Moroccan Harcha Semolina Pan-Fried Flatbread
DESCRIPTION
INGREDIENTS
- 2 ¼ cups fine semolina
- 1 stick melted butter
- ½ cup oil
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 cup milk (lukewarm)
INSTRUCTIONS
- In a bowl, mix the semolina, butter, oil, salt and milk.
- Knead all the ingredients to get a homogeneous dough.
- Split the dough in two and shape it into balls.
- Place the ball on a little semolina, and sprinkle some of it on top of the ball.
- Flatten the dough with the palm of your hand to a ½ inch thickness.
- Cook it at low temperature in a frying pan for 10 minutes on each side.
- Serve warm or cold with honey and mint tea.
