Instructions
Dilute the yeast in the warm water and let it foam for 15 minutes.
In a bowl, mix the flour, salt, sugar, and eggs, and the lemon zest. Mix well and add to the dough mixture.
Knead for 10 minutes. Then add oil. Knead until dough ball doesn't stick to bowl.
Cover bowl with plastic wrap and let sit until dough doubles in size (about 1 hour).
Punch down the dough and knead again for 10-15 minutes until soft. (Sprinkle flour if needed to keep from sticking).
Then form into small balls (the size of an egg) and place into a greased and floured round baking dish.
Cover and let rise a second time for 1 hour until the balls double in size and touch each other.
Preheat the oven to 350 ° F.
MIX the egg yolk with a tablespoon of milk and gilded the top with a brush, and sprinkle with icing sugar.
Bake in preheated oven 20-30 minutes or until Mona has a nice golden color.
