Ingredients
12ozcouscous1 box
1/4tspturmeric
pepper to taste
1/4tspmace
1tbspolive oil
2cupswaterlukewarm
Instructions
In a bowl pour the couscous, stir in the spices, drizzle the oil and add the water. Gently knead the couscous, detaching the grains, cover with a wet towel and set aside for 30 minutes.
Remove towel and fluff couscous with a fork.
Before serving it, bring 2 to 3 cups of water (or chicken, meat or vegetable broth) to a boil and pour over the couscous. Serve hot.
