A meal isn't complete without this tangy salad. It's great with falafel or shawarma pita or as a side to any barbeque.

Ingredients
½headred cabbage
2-3tbspmayonnaise
1tspDijonFrench mustard
1tbspwhite wine vinegar
4clovesgarlicminced
salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Remove outer layer of red cabbage. Rinse under cold water. Cut the cabbage in half and shred as finely as possible. Discard the stem of the cabbage. I either use a potato peeler or a mandolin.
Mix all the ingredients in a large bowl. Add the shredded cabbage mix everything thoroughly to combine. (Add more mayonnaise if necessary).
Notes
Store in covered container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
