Dark Chocolate Chickpea Brownies
A great and healthy recipe, by Julia at theroastedroot, that makes great use of chickpeas, transforming them into a healthy chocolate brownie dessert.

Ingredients
INGREDIENTS

can chickpeas drained and rinsed

eggs
1/3
cup
raw cacao powder
2/3
cup
coconut sugar
2
tablespoons
full-fat canned coconut milk or coconut oil
1
teaspoon
coffee grinds*
2
teaspoons
baking powder
½
cup
dark chocolate chips
Instructions
INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F and line a 9" x 9" pan with parchement paper (or lightly oil it).
Add all ingredients for the brownies to a blender and blend until completely smooth.
Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan and bake for 24 to 26 minutes or until brownies test clean.
Allow brownies to cool at least 20 minutes before cutting and serving.
